What is an Audiobook?

An audiobook, sometimes called a ‘talking book’, is a book that you listen to instead of physically read.

Audiobooks can be recorded on to audio cassettes, CDs or, in the case of those at The Audiobook Place, they can take the form of computer data files that can be dowloaded to a computer via the internet.

These files can then be stored and listened to on a home computer then if desired put on a CD or MP3 player.
